Noah's Vegan, Cozy and Stoney Banana Bread
You will need:
- 3 large bananas, overripe preferably
- 1/3 cup applesauce (can be substituted for 1/8 cup neutral baking oil)
- 1/4 cup Smokiez Maple Agave Syrup (one bottle)
- 1/4 cup non-THC agave syrup (or THC if you want to double the dose!)
- 1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour (may be substituted for gluten-free flour)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp of vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- lots of cinnamon. as much as your heart desires
Optional tasty additions:
- vegan chocolate chips (I use the brand Enjoy Life!)
- mixed nuts
- pumpkin spice seasoning
- vegan butter mixed with agave and cinnamon as a topping (I like Country Crock’s avocado oil “Plant Butter”)
To Bake:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and oil your bread baking pan. Combine wet ingredients, then add the dry. I sift the flour because I find it adds better consistency. Bake for 50 minutes to an hour, you can take it out and poke with a toothpick to make sure that it’s ready. If you cut into 12ths, each piece is 42mg of THC and CBD. This recipe is 100% vegan and can be made nut-free and gluten-free.
This recipe is adapted from my great grandmother’s recipe to include THC and be veganized!!
