On June 21, to mark the one-year anniversary of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act’s entry into force, Fred Rocafort and Bob Kossick participated in a Q&A session on the topic. Here are some highlights of that event. The discussion revolves around the critical subject of forced labor and the efforts undertaken by the U.S. Government to eradicate this abhorrent practice. Robert Kossick is a specialist in trade and customs matters, while Fred Rocafort is a former U.S. diplomat with over a decade of hands-on experience in China. Both currently advise importers on compliance issues related to forced labor.
