With the passage of State Question 788, Medical Marijuana is now legal in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Department of Health has
created a set of Emergency
Provisions titled Chapter 661 to help with the smooth and safe implementation of SQ 788. Even with it being technically
legal to possess Medical Marijuana in the State of Oklahoma, all adults ages 18 and older who would like the opportunity
to begin using Medical Marijuana for the alleviation of doctor-prescribed ailments need to apply
for a Medical Marijuana Patient License with the Oklahoma Department of Health. Oursimplistic guide is based entirely
off of what Chapter 661 says is the proper path to obtaining a license.
